「Our stay at Chalet Ivy Weiss was honestly spectacular. This place is seriously underrated and deserves every bit of a five star review. Even before we arrived, Chloe had been incredibly helpful and professional. The kind of service that makes you feel like family rather than just another booking. Once we checked in, the whole team continued that level of care. Eilidh was so friendly, have us a whole bunch of tips and tricks for Niseko, Anna constantly made sure we were taken care of went outside to grab the bus cos we were running late, Chatma and Finley was just as helpful and friendly. Every interaction felt genuine and thoughtful. You can also tell the team culture here is exceptional. Vlad, the manager, has clearly fostered a strong sense of camaraderie among the staff. Everyone is aligned, well mannered, and genuinely supportive of one another. Everything was seamless. The hotel itself is beeeeeaaautiful. Its brand new and everything feels fresh, elegant and well designed. We chose a room with views of Mount Yōtei, and waking up to that view was unreal. The onsen overlooking the mountains was absolutely insane. One of those moments where you just sit there thinking this is why people travel to Japan for winter. Location wise it is perfect. There is a complimentary shuttle into town and it is only about a 10 minute free shuttle to Hanazono ski, which made getting to the slopes super easy. What really stood out though was the hospitality. We had to catch a very early flight and would miss the breakfast buffet. Without us even asking, the team packed breakfast for us to take. It is those small thoughtful touches that make a stay unforgettable. We are genuinely sooo sad to be leaving. No doubt we will be back the next time we are here chasing Japow.
