Sun Frontier旗下經營度假村、酒店、溫泉旅館等各式住宿類型，劃分為溫泉與度假村、城市度假村、地區度假村、精選系列等四大類型。其中，日和飯店及度假村(Hiyori Hotels & Resorts)主打以顧客為出發的日本特色款待文化，多數酒店配置男女大浴場，提供高湯茶泡飯、浴後冰棒、迎賓飲料、清晨咖啡等免費餐飲服務，頗有向多美迎系列看齊的取向。
Sun Frontier 不動產株式會社(サンフロンティア不動産株式会社)於1999年4月創立，總部位於東京都千代田區，主要業務為不動產買賣、租賃與仲介，2015年8月成立陽光酒店管理公司(Sun Frontier Hotel Management Inc.)，開展酒店品牌開發與經營管理業務，也陸續收歸Sky Heart、Joytel Hotels等系列品牌酒店。
Sun Frontier於2016年4月隔年開設集團的第1間酒店─春秋陽光名古屋常滑酒店，2017年7月推出自有品牌第1間酒店－舞濱日和飯店，陸續在京都推出日和STAY、STITCH HOTEL等服務公寓。此外，針對日本二線城市，推出地方創生概念的度假村品牌－TABINO HOTEL。

屋頂也有公共空間可以放鬆（這次因為房內就有陽台的關係就沒有上去了），可以一覽京都的夜景，也看得到京都塔哦！

離清水寺不遠，我們待在京都的期間總共去了清水寺兩次，都是步行到達的。
走路10分鐘有一間24小時超市，常常購買食材回去飯店料理。
走路5分鐘就有地鐵站，15分鐘有公車站通往市區。· Room Introduction

Breakfast was simple and enough to energize us to explore Kyoto’s attractions.
There is a soft drink bar available from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and vending machines are located just to the right after entering the main entrance.
The rooftop features a communal relaxation space where you can enjoy Kyoto’s night views!(We didn’t go this time since there was a balcony in our room.)

The hotel is close to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and we visited it twice during our stay, both times on foot.
A 24-hour supermarket is just a 10-minute walk away, perfect for buying ingredients to cook at the hotel.
