2022年聖誕節後入住剛剛開幕1個月後的曼谷瓦利亞酒店(Valia Hotel Bangkok)，周遭聚集眾多在地小吃，我們散步隨意吃吃逛逛，迥異於捷運沿線百貨公司環繞的星級酒店，走路就能體驗曼谷在地社區的文化風情，滿溢泰國文化意象的金碧輝煌設計，進出隨時有人幫忙開門的服務，也是體驗泰國在地酒店集團品牌的良機。(🔎訂房價格與住宿評價：agoda｜booking.com｜Trip｜klook)
曼谷瓦利亞酒店於2022年11月22日開幕營業，前身原為The President Park Sukhumvit 24園區中的酒店棟，The President Park原為結合酒店與多棟服務式公寓的建築群，酒店棟經全新整修與更名後重新開幕，1號樓與2號樓兩棟隔著素坤逸22巷對望，2號樓為主館，設置餐廳、游泳池、健身房與酒吧等設施。
「號稱五星飯店，一進房間一堆問題：
1.浴室在漏水，工程人員來修理說只是水龍頭沒關好，結果根本不是，經理的解決方式是讓我們換到比較舊的別館，吃早餐、游泳池都需要過馬路，我們不願意，只好忍受漏水三天。
2.沒給毛巾，竟然可以忘記這麼重要的備品，打電話要了只給大毛巾，再要一次換給擦手小毛巾，懶得再抗議了。
3.床頭有上個客人的髮圈跟頭髮，後來甚至在浴室洗澡到一半直接掉一塊黑色污垢下來，很噁心，可以感覺很多地方打掃工作都很隨便。
4.淋浴間的水壓很小，洗澡不是很舒服。
本來只想給一顆星，但除了櫃檯人員，其他地方遇到的人員都很客氣又親切，有個掃描QRCODE的牌子，所有的服務都能透過上面點選，唯一覺得像五星飯店的地方，所以最後還是給了三顆星。

This hotel claims to be five-star, but there were problems from the moment we entered the room:
1. The bathroom was leaking. The maintenance staff came and said it was just a faucet not closed properly, but that wasn’t the real issue. The manager’s solution was to move us to an older annex building, where breakfast and the pool required crossing the street. Since we didn’t want that, we had no choice but to endure the leakage for three nights.
2. Towels were not provided, which is unbelievable for such an essential amenity. When we called, they only sent large bath towels. After asking again, we were given small hand towels. We didn’t bother to complain further.
3. We found a previous guest’s hair tie and hair by the bedside. Later, while showering, a chunk of black dirt even fell from above. It was disgusting, and it was clear that housekeeping was done very carelessly.
4. The water pressure in the shower was very weak, making showers uncomfortable.
Initially, I only wanted to give one star. However, aside from the front desk staff, all the other staff we encountered were very polite and friendly. There was also a QR code system where services could be requested conveniently, which was the only part that felt like a true five-star hotel. Because of that, I decided to give three stars in the end.」
